Home / Support / Software updates
Daintree Networks offer new releases of the Sensor Network Analyzer at regular intervals throughout the year.
New releases include updates that ensure the SNA keeps track with evolving industry standards and evolving market needs.
How to get the latest release
You need to have a current Software Update and Support (SUS) subscription to receive software updates. A 12-month subscription is included with the purchase of the Standard and Professional editions of the SNA software. On expiry, the subscription can be renewed for a further 12-month period.
Note that the SUS subscription is not available for the Basic edition of the SNA software, which is provided by Daintree's semiconductor partners as part of their development kits.
Installing a new release
As part of your SUS subscription, you will receive an email notifying you whenever a new release is available, and providing download and installation instructions. Simply follow these instructions to start taking advantage of the SNA's new and enhanced functionality:
- Simply install the new release over your current one. Your license is preserved and transferred to the new release. The installation preserves your existing data files (such as capture and session files), and other settings.
- To revert to an earlier release, you must first uninstall the currently release before re-installing the earlier version.
- If your SUS subscription has expired, you will not be able to install a version of the software that was issued after your expiry date. Any existing installation will be preserved.
