ZigBee RF4CE

ZigBee RF4CE (Radio Frequency for Consumer Electronics) is the result of an agreement between the ZigBee Alliance and the RF4CE Consortium. It has been designed to be deployed in a wide range of remotely-controlled audio/visual consumer electronics products, such as TVs and set-top boxes. ZigBee RF4CE promises many benefits including richer communication and increased reliability, enhanced features and flexibility, interoperability, and no line-of-sight barrier.
The ZigBee RF4CE standard enhances the IEEE 802.15.4 standard by providing a simple networking layer and standard application profiles that can be used to create a multi-vendor interoperable solution for use within the home. It takes full advantage of IEEE 802.15.4 proven interference avoidance techniques and features a unique channel agility mechanism.

Sensor Network Analyzer (SNA)
Please note that Daintree's Sensor
Network Analyzer software and Sensor Network Adapter hardware were
discontinued on March 31, 2010, and are no longer available for sale.
The following information is provided for support purposes only.
Daintree's SNA provides a powerful development, analysis and
troubleshooting tool for ZigBee RF4CE. Its Packet List and Packet
Timeline windows show a summary of all packets received. You can select
a packet in either window to display its details in the Packet Decode
window, through which you can "drill down" and see details for every
field and every byte within that packet.
Customization options allow you to color-code different packet and
field types to make them easy to identify. And powerful filters allow
you to quickly locate packets of interest from among thousands of
packets.
The SNA also provides advanced functionality including support for
ZigBee RF4CE security, automatic security key harvesting, and multi-channel capture (which is ideal for
RF4CE's channel agility mechanism).
