Compare SNA Software Editions

Please note that Daintree's Sensor Network Analyzer software and Sensor Network Adapter hardware were discontinued on March 31, 2010, and are no longer available for sale. The following information is provided for support purposes only.

There are two Sensor Network Analyzer (SNA) editions available: Standard and Professional.

101B Standard (Std) edition

An essential set of tools for wireless embedded development and testing, with support for a wide range of standards-based and proprietary protocols. Key features include comprehensive protocol analysis with detailed packet lists and packet decodes, filters and extensive capture playback controls, editable XML-based protocol and application profile definitions, and basic network visualization for IEEE 802.15.4-based protocols.

100A Professional (Pro) edition

A complete toolkit for wireless embedded development and testing, with enhanced tools for ZigBee and IEEE 802.15.4 commissioning and maintenance. Key differentiators include multi-node and multi-channel capture (supported for all protocols), and advanced network visualization, detailed performance measurements, active analysis of live networks, advanced troubleshooting, and commissioning tool (supported for ZigBee).

Notes

[1]   Requires a device capable of "active analysis" such as Daintree's 2400E Sensor Network Adapter.
[2]   Supported for protocols that use IEEE 802.15.4 MAC Associations.
[3]   Requires embedded device to include ZigBee Commissioning Cluster and stack support for the Commissioning Cluster
[4]   Security keys can be added manually (Standard edition)
[5]   Currently supported for selected Texas Instruments SoC devices.
