Compatibility with development kits
The Sensor Network Analyzer (SNA) software can be used with Daintree's 2400E Sensor Network Adapter together with an extensive range of third-party semiconductor development kits.
Standards-based
The SNA software can participate in a network of devices each supporting standard ZigBee interfaces. No special agent code is required on the ZigBee devices.
Operational modes
The table below shows which third-party development kits include one or more devices that can be used by the SNA in capture and/or active modes.
Capture mode
Capture devices, also referred to as "sniffers", are able to detect air interface activity and forward it to the SNA software for analysis. Incoming data can be logged to disc as it arrives and saved to a log file post-capture so that it can be retrieved and analyzed at a later time.
Active mode
Active devices can be used with the SNA to "actively" interact with live networks and devices, to do things like starting and joining networks, configuring devices over-the-air during commissioning, managing networks by forcing devices to join or leave, scanning and discovering network structure, and measuring parameters such as link quality and power levels.

Supported features
The table below shows which third-party platforms (hardware and stack software) include features that can be exercised over-the-air by the SNA.
Commissioning support
Platforms that support standards-based ZigBee commissioning can be deployed and configured using Daintree's commissioning solution.
