Bill Wood, President/CEO

Bill WoodBill has many years of international senior-level financial, marketing and technical experience in the data and telecommunications industries. Prior to founding Daintree, Bill was most recently Vice President and General Manager of Agilent Technologies' Communications Test Equipment Business Unit, and concurrent with this, Managing Director of Agilent Technologies Australia. Prior to that, Bill was with Hewlett-Packard Company and served in many roles including Vice President and General Manager of the Advanced Networks Division. Bill holds a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (Communications) from RMIT University, Melbourne.

Jason Choong, Vice President, Marketing

Jason ChoongPrior to joining Daintree, Jason held roles with Agilent Technologies, and prior to that, Hewlett-Packard Company. Jason has considerable experience in technical marketing including roles as Product Marketing Manager, Regional Business Development Manager and as a Software Engineer in Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies. His extensive communications industry expertise includes IP, ATM and SONET technologies. Within Daintree, Jason's responsibilities include product management, technical and outbound marketing. Jason has Bachelors Degrees of Science and Engineering from The University of Western Australia, and a Masters of Engineering from The University of Melbourne.

Dean van Gerrevink, Vice President, Engineering 

Dean van GerrevinkDean is responsible for all engineering matters at Daintree Networks. Prior to joining Daintree Networks, Dean was most recently the CTO and System Architect at the Data Networks Division of Agilent Technologies, where he led the development of the RouterTester/RT900/N2X product line. During his 10 years at Agilent Technologies, and prior to that, Hewlett Packard Company, Dean held a variety of engineering management and technical contributor roles. He has extensive experience in data networking technologies and associated test methodologies, software architecture and design,and seeking out, acquiring, integrating new talent and new technology, and working with and managing geographically dispersed teams. Dean holds Bachelor of Science (Hons) and Bachelor of Engineering Degrees from Melbourne University.

Alan Z White, Vice President, Business Development

Alan Z WhiteAlan is responsible for the management and strategy of Daintree's business development, sales, and partnerships. Prior to joining Daintree, Alan directed technology development and business alliances within the Office of the CTO at Autodesk, Inc, focusing on sustainable innovations and immersive environments for the architectural, infrastructure, and manufacturing industries. He began his career at Silicon Graphics at the outset of the graphics workstation business, and subsequently co-founded SupplyBase, which was acquired by i2. He has held executive positions in the high-tech and clean energy industries in London and Silicon Valley. Alan continues to be active on the supply side of the energy equation, serving on the Board of Bodega Algae, Cambridge, MA. He holds a BS in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Union College, and an MS from the MIT Sloan School.

Lisa Ardern, Director of Customer and Partner Channel Support

Lisa ArdernLisa is responsible for ensuring Daintree's customers and partners receive outstanding support. Prior to joining Daintree Networks, Lisa worked at Agilent Technologies, and prior to that Hewlett-Packard. Her most recent position was as the Support Manager for the N2X product line. During her 8.5 years at Agilent Technologies and Hewlett Packard Company, Lisa held a variety of division support related roles. She has extensive experience in working with customers, setting up support systems, and managing geographically dispersed teams. Lisa holds Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Science Degrees (hons) from the University of Melbourne.
