Collection of information

Daintree Networks may collect personal information from you when you register or activate a product, register for access to certain sections of our web site or in order to conduct business with us, request access to information such as white papers, purchase products from us online, request quotations, and other like activities. Product activation

During product activation, our software creates a unique hardware signature that represents the configuration of the computer at the time of activation. The hardware signature identifies only the computer and not any information about software or data that may reside on it, or any information about the specific make or model of your computer, and does not include any personal information. Prior to or during product activation you may also be asked to provide certain personal information, including contact details. Such information will be treated in the manner described by this policy statement.

Cookie use

A cookie is a piece of information either stored temporarily in your browser’s memory or on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies allow a web application to respond to you as an individual, but without the need to identify you explicitly. On occasion Daintree may use cookies to help us analyze web traffic or to improve your web navigation experience. Should you enable your web browser to accept cookies, Daintree will only use these for the purposes of tailoring our web site to your needs, likes and dislikes, and providing an automated login process as a matter of convenience for previously registered customers.

Children’s privacy

Daintree Networks does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. We do not target our websites to children under 13.
